Tina Heath is a fully-accredited
hypnotherapist with extensive experience helping people
with a wide range of problems, offering focused, forward-thinking,
personally-tailored solutions to improve your life, helping you to
eliminate unhelpful and negative thoughts by replacing them with positive,
empowering, uplifting feelings to help you to achieve your individual goals.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a highly-skilled and extremely effective approach to resolving one’s issues by accessing
the subconscious mind and changing the way it interacts with the conscious mind.
For example, whilst reading a book our conscious mind might be aware of what the pages are saying to us.
However, the subconscious is absorbing information regarding ambient light, temperature, the texture of the pages,
background sound, the room, the position in which we are sitting, etc. It is by accessing these
subconscious observations, emotions and memories that hypnotherapy seeks to alter negative thoughts,
feelings and behaviours, enabling us to use our experiences in more positive, helpful and constructive ways.
The state of hypnosis itself is a deeply-relaxed state of mind and body in which the therapist is able to
communicate directly with the sub-conscious, in order to find the core of the problem and effect the desired changes.
At no point does the subject actually “lose consciousness”, but the state of mind is such that he or she will feel
that comfortable, “floaty” feeling, as if on the edge of sleep,
and will always awake from the hypnotic process refreshed, relaxed and alert,
and easily able to continue with normal, daily life.
How can hypnotherapy help me?
Hypnotherapy is traditionally associated with losing weight and stopping smoking,
but it is highly effective in treating a wide variety of other issues – even issues which would
one would not initially consider rooted in the mind. Tina has successfully

-
Anxiety
- Phobias
- Drug and alcohol addictions
- Low self-esteem
- Stress-related issues
- Fertility issues
- Abuse
- Parkinson’s disease
- Sleep disorders
- Anger
- Motivation
- Work-related development
- Pain relief

- Weight-loss, including the “hypno-gastric band”
This list is far from exhaustive, and it is recommended that you contact Tina directly
for an informal, no-obligation discussion, free of charge, to see whether she is able
to assist you, whatever the problem.
Tina offers both reasonably-priced one-to-one and group sessions at her home on Hayling Island, and will also, from
early 2012, be available at Cowplain Healthspace.
